25 mins

Presenter: Megan Litster, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse

This great provocation was suggested by Megan Lister in our 2022 Conference. She argued faculty confidence in adopting Active Learning is effected by students’ attitudes. She asked, “How then do we move forward with confidence when we encounter negative perceptions of an instructional strategies, particularly when teaching through active learning strategies?”, “What tactics can we employ to help increase student attitudes when enrolling in a flipped/active class?” and “How do we help students succeed in the face of mixed attitudes?”
