Would you like to team up with inspiring, like-minded colleagues from other institutions? Would you benefit from having a supportive group of peers to openly share ideas around how to build community, pedagogic practice, scholarship and career development around active and inclusive learning?
We invite you to join the Active Learning Network Global Educator Exchange, a fantastic opportunity to expand the reach and impact of your career through cross-institutional collaboration and peer-mentorship.
Purpose: This professional exchange enables educators from different institutions around the world, and members of ALN satellite organisations from across the global network, to share experiences and ideas and form cross-institutional groups. We aim to meet at least once every three months to discuss pedagogic practice, scholarship and career development around active and inclusive learning. Our buddy scheme enables you to be paired up with colleagues to form a global educator exchange group, and you can arrange your own time to meet, discuss and share ideas.
Our regular meetings typically involve a brief introduction of a topic selected by members to set the stage, breakout discussions to share ideas and pedagogic practice and opportunities to contribute to collaborative writing. At the end of the event, we briefly reconvene to summarise and discuss next steps.
